We spent a wonderful Christmas in St. Louis with Amber, Dayn and Drew. Drew loves Jack (who doesn't). He asks Amber when is Jack coming home. He doesn't like to hear Jack lives with Papa and Nana.
The drive from home to St. Louis and back is the most butt numbing and mind numbing ride ever. NEVER again. We will fly the next time if they are still there. Could be they are moving on - looking at CA.
We are leaving in a couple of days for 2 wonderful months in the San Diego area!!! Our friends from Vegas are coming to stay with us for a week and maybe we can get Richard to come play with Craig too.

Craig is stuck tonight in South Dakota due to a blizzard. He went (drove) to Rochester, MN with the Palmer's to move Betty into a new apartment. Of course while he was gone we got a foot of new snow - Jack is happy...

We are home again and I'm really wishing we weren't! Sub-zero weather and wind - yuck. Poor Jack's feet start to freeze after being out just a couple minutes.
Our Italy trip was just wonderful. We left and due to Miss Sofie's very eventful night we did not get to thank Jenny for her wonderful sense of humor about having us all at her home and for a wonderful time with the family.
Craig & I came home with a nasty rotten cold. I'm really over the cough that came along with it.
Now we are getting ready to go to St.Louis for Christmas.

We are in Rome and it is amazing. I do not have the words to describe what is here and all you see. I believe we have had pizza for 5 meals in a row now. All different and all wonderful. We are leaving tomorrow for Florence and then Venice. More great things to see - my feet have officially declared war against me however.

PACKING FOR ITALY!!!

3 Days and we are on our way!!

We are busy packing and trying to figure out how to entertain ourselves for the long plane rides. A little cribbage anyone?!!
Italy - wine and espresso - well... I will just have to enjoy the Anderson's share as well as my own!
My wonderful daughters have me addicted to Farmville on My Space. I don't recall my "real" farming days to be so easy or fun!!

It is entirely too wonderful! It was a forward from a friend that I miss greatly, never see or talk with anymore. Maybe it is a Thanksgiving blessing!!!????

8 Days and Counting Down

We are so excited about the upcoming Italy trip. I just hope I can keep up with the infamous Kyle's tour regime!

Thanksgiving in Italy??!!!!!

We have been waiting to make our plans for this fall and winter adventures. Craig had his appointment with the orthopedic surgen and he will NOT need surgery yet! A custom brace is being made for him that will hopefully allow him to play tennis and "white haired" basketball for another five years!

So... We are going to take a motor home tour come back to Big Sky around mid November and then go to ROME for 10 days!!! Kyle & Jen we are looking into our flights and are hoping to spend Thanksgiving with you!!! Let us know how that sounds to you guys! I've never been to Europe and Italy being my first trip ... WOW!!

We are then going to St. Louis to spend Christmas with Amber, Dayn and Drew. It will be our first Christmas with Drew. At three he should be loads of fun.

When we get back from St. Louis we will pack it up and head to Coronado for three months!

SURPRISE - WE ARE BLOGGING AGAIN!

We have had a wonderful summer with the family! I did catch a bit of flack about not updating the blog spot from a few of the nieces in the family so...

We have re-painted the entire interior of the house! We put in a new back splash and tiled the kitchen floor and as I type we have been booted out of the house for a few days as the wood floor is getting stripped and refinished! All these wonderful things being done in time for us to run away for 6 months!!
